Artificial Intelligence (AI) Patch for Daisies & Brownies

Through storytelling, activities, and discussions, Daisies and Brownies will discover what Artificial Intelligence is, how it works, and how it is used in the world around them. They will explore how AI can recognise patterns, make decisions, and help solve problems, while beginning to understand why problem-solving is such an important skill in everyday life. This class is designed to spark curiosity, inspire creativity, and show girls that they can play an exciting role in shaping the future of AI.

A strong emphasis is placed on thinking rather than memorising. Girls are invited to share ideas, ask questions, and reflect on how they approach problems in their own lives. This approach helps them recognise that the foundation of AI is rooted in the same type of thinking they already use every day. As they engage with the material, they begin to see themselves not just as users of technology, but as capable thinkers who can influence and shape how it works.

The class also introduces the idea that technology is created by people. Girls learn that their voices, perspectives, and ideas matter, and that innovation is driven by individuals who are willing to think differently. By connecting AI concepts to real life situations, participants develop a sense of relevance and possibility.
