Cybersecurity Badges 1, 2 & 3 for Daisies

This October, in honour of Cybersecurity Month, STEM the Gap Academy invites Girl Scouts to participate in interactive virtual workshops designed to empower them with essential digital safety skills. Through engaging activities, scouts will have the opportunity to earn all three Cybersecurity badges—Basics, Safeguards, and Investigator—within a single weekend.

In the two-part Cybersecurity Basics workshop, girls will explore how computers and devices work and learn essential online safety skills. The Safeguards session teaches how to create secure online identities, protect personal information, and recognise trustworthy sources. Finally, the investigator session sharpened detective skills through solving cyber puzzles and understanding how to navigate the digital world safely.

These interactive classes are led by expert female STEM educators and are conducted online, allowing girls to participate from the comfort of their homes. Please note that badges are not included with the workshops and may be purchased separately upon completion.
