Cybersecurity Badges 1, 2 & 3 for Juniors

This October, in celebration of Cybersecurity Month, Junior Girl Scouts can participate in STEM the Gap Academy's virtual workshops to earn all three Cybersecurity badges—Basics, Safeguards, and Investigator—over a single weekend.

In the two-part Cybersecurity Basics workshop, girls will learn how computers work, think, and communicate. They will gain essential skills to stay safe online and understand how to protect themselves while using different types of networks.

The Safeguards session focuses on creating and protecting online identities, understanding the importance of strong passwords, and learning to share information responsibly.

Finally, the Investigator session sharpens detective skills through cracking codes, exploring identity theft, and learning to distinguish between real and fake information, empowering girls to navigate the digital world safely.

These interactive classes are led by expert female STEM educators and are conducted online, allowing girls to participate from the comfort of their homes. Please note that badges are not included with the workshops and may be purchased separately upon completion.

*Badges are not included. *Payments may be subject to a small foreign transaction fee.
