Roshana Edwards

Hello! I’m Roshana, a Biomedical Science graduate from uOttawa with a strong foundation in research, critical thinking, and problem-solving. I am deeply passionate about STEM and dedicated to inspiring girls to explore science, technology, and medicine. I believe that curiosity, creativity, and persistence are key to unlocking opportunities, and I love showing young learners that they belong in STEM and can achieve their goals!

I have experience teaching and mentoring students, and I approach every lesson with enthusiasm, patience, and a focus on building confidence. By creating an engaging and supportive learning environment, I aim to help students not only understand complex concepts but also discover a genuine love for learning. I enjoy playing chess and baking during my free time!

I am also pursuing a future career as a physician, and I bring the same passion, dedication, and curiosity to every aspect of my work. Through teaching and mentorship, I hope to empower girls to see STEM as an exciting field full of possibilities, and to inspire them to pursue their dreams with confidence and resilience!
