Lydia has over 15 years of experience as an educator, having taught numerous subjects including physics, math, music, programming, research and computing support over the years. She also has extensive experience teaching all grades, from elementary to post-graduate, and is comfortable with any type of classroom, whether it is online or in-person. 

Lydia has worked across a variety of different professions too, lending her skills to numerous research fields (quantum physics, nursing, psychology, public health, legal studies) and industry sectors (aviation engineering and cybersecurity). With a BSc. in Physics and a MSc. in Physics and Quantum Information from the University of Waterloo, Lydia has spent the last 3 years working in the academic digital research support ecosystem, and currently holds a joint position with both ACENET and Calcul Québec as Manager, Special Initiatives and Directrice du développement des nouveaux services à la recherche (Director, New Research Service Development).
