STEM the Gap Academy is an empowerment company with a mission to educate, empower, and inspire the next generation of girls in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics). By doing so, we aim to close the gender gap in all male-dominated fields, particularly in STEM industries. This mission is at the core of our organization and guides everything we do.

The positive impact of learning STEM is well-researched and has been proved instrumental in developing children’s character and grit. Nevertheless, STEM continues to be a field where boys are predominantly encouraged to participate and excel, while girls continue to miss out.

This is why STEM the Gap Academy has built a diverse and international community of passionate educators, STEM professionals, and chess experts dedicated to being strong female role models for every student they encounter.

As a result, every STEM the Gap Academy lesson is an enthusiastic, fun and empowering experience that fosters powerful thinking. We equip girls with the skills to think critically, confidently approach challenges, and thrive in any field they choose. We provide the tools they need to solve problems, express ideas, and navigate the world with resilience.

Our STEM educators foster individual connections with students and use a variety of creative teaching techniques and styles, ensuring that no girl feels left behind. This approach allows every girl who joins us to gain the confidence and skills to thrive—not just in STEM, but in life!
